The FTC and Your Website
Hopefully you are aware of the changes in the FTC guidelines that affect all online business. And I am not a lawyer and don’t give legal advice.
I don’t want to scare you but here is a link to a blog by an Internet Lawyer and one of his latest posts. He asks and answers some important questions about this topic.
I recommend you read his post.

Link Building – RSS Directories
RSS Directories
An RSS directory is a website that list links to RSS feeds. You can visit them to find RSS feeds about the topic you are interested in learning more about. Once you find one you can add it to your favorite Feed Aggregator such as Google Reader.
So why add your RSS feed?
First of all you could get subscribers to your RSS feed. And these subscribers could come to visit your site for more information. They could end up buying product(s) from your site.
Second the directory will yield a back link to your site. This is another link building technique you can utilize.
But like other back links the old saying slow but steady is the rule. Don’t slam a large number of back links to your site. Search engines don’t like that.
Consider adding RSS Directories to your SEO program.
