Google Maps

Google Maps are one of the first places you should consider adding an online ad for your business. People use Google Maps to find locations and driving directions. Make it easy for them by being listed on Google Maps.  And if you have more than one location, add all of them.

Go to Google Maps and search for your business listing. Did you find it? If you find it but no one has claimed it, claim it. After you finish claiming it, you can edit and complete the listing.

If you did not find your business you can now add your business. Do this by clicking on the “Put your business on Google Maps” links.

This will take you to the Google Local Business Center. Sign up for a free account and add your business. It is a straight forward system so you should not have any  problems. And remember that you can always come back to improve your ad.

With your listing on Google Maps you can add the map to your site to help people find you. And they can get directions to your place of business through Google Maps.
