Buying Process – Awareness
Stage One Of The Buying Process – Awareness
Buyers go through three stages before they buy. The amount of time taken in each stage varies greatly with the individual and the situation.
As a business owner you need to be aware of each stage and have helpful information appropriate for each stage easily found on your business website.
The awareness stage is when the individual begins to understand that he/she has a problem that needs a solution.
Perhaps their car is starting to need a lot of repairs – I need a new car. Their ice maker is only working some of the time – I need a new refrigerator.
No matter what the problem is, in this stage the person becomes aware of it.
And you as a online business owner can help people realize they may have a problem by blogging about the early signs of the problem. The problem solved with your product.
So blog about the awareness stage, make it easy to find, create internal links to it and help more people realize they have a problem and you have a solution.
Take action and make it happen.

Stages of The Buying Process
The Buying Process
Your readers go through three stages within the buying process before they buy. These three stages are awareness, discovery and solutions.
So your readers go through the buying process before they buy from you or someone else. And different readers are in different stages of the buying process.
These readers can enter your website on any page or post your have. They don’t always enter from your home page. Check your Google Analytics and see all of the different locations readers use to enter your site.
What Does All Of This Mean?
As a website owner you need to recognize that your visitors could be in anyone of the buying stages at any time. Then can and will enter your site on different pages and posts. So you need to meet the needs of all stages of the buying process on your site and the information should be very easy to find.
Satisfying the readers at each step of the process is the key to making sales at the end of the buying process.
So understand each stage and be sure your site answers all of the needs of each stage. Then make this information easy to find.
Until the next time,
