Buying Stages – Discovery
This stage is when the buyer discovers the potential solutions to his/her problem. What products can help solve the problem, where can they be found, what are the benefits of each product, warranties, costs, where to buy and more are all researched. This is basically the research time and most of it is done online.
Even with the research done online, the final purchase maybe completed off line.
But if your business is not online, you are at a great disadvantage. During the discover stage, the researcher will probably start to determine where to buy and what to buy.
So this is your chance to become a finalist by having the answers the researcher is looking for and a product that meets their needs.
So as with the awareness stage, you need to have all of the information requested on you site and easily found.
Help sell you products by having the answers to the researchers questions during the discovery stage.
